accelerometer on the strip-follower: hydraulic lift is cycling the encoder wheel WAY too fast (tak-tak) — shocks >6 g DESTROYED the encoder; the whole mechanism is framed by the blinking RED ZONE in the 3D scene
ECM d.o.o. embedded appliance — live PLC simulation
What this is
A 300-ton sheet-metal stamping line in one embedded box: decoiler (Ø 3 m coil, 1 m strip), straightener with its own drive, the 300 t press — and when it strikes, the whole scene shakes — then 16 identical blanks tumble onto the conveyor and into the box.
The broken part (true story)
The strip-follower encoder wheel is lifted by a hydraulic mechanism that cycles it far too fast — the shocks destroyed the encoder. A vibration sensor now watches it; the mechanism is framed by a blinking red alarm zone in the scene.
Technical
Self-host HTTP service on ECM onlineRTOS/4th (POSIX dev build)
Procedural WebGL/glTF twin generated on the box (/scene.glb)
Deterministic physics: coil unwind & thinning, ram dynamics, part ballistics
Web Audio: hydraulic hum + the BANG (turn the sound on!)
LEGAL. Technology DEMO / MOCK-UP for evaluation only. Clean-room: built from first principles and public knowledge of hydraulic presses; no licensed code or assets; all telemetry simulated. Real press photos/dimensions to be modeled next.
